Reasons Eating Disorder Center (Reasons) is seeking candidate professionals, like you, to provide compassionate care to our diverse patients for our residential treatment facilities located in beautiful, intimate six-bed houses in the Pasadena, San Marino and Arcadia neighborhoods of the Los Angeles area.
Licensed to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
A minimum of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred and one (1) year eating disorder experience preferred, but not required.
May be required to work flexible hours, overtime, on-call.
A minimum of one (1) year management or administrative experience.
Must complete California ARF Administrator Certification Training within first 3 months of employment.

Job Description: The Reasons Residential Director of Nursing is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, eating disorder and mental health practice and residential policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the residential philosophy, objectives, educational and Quality Improvement efforts, while providing supervision and support to the nursing staff and nurse managers, including delegating and monitoring work across all residential sites. Oversees the administration of nursing services in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Initiates the development of policies and procedures that govern nursing services and other services under his or her supervision. Manages nursing and clinical support staff leaders and provides performance feedback and goal setting. Conducts annual performance assessments and skill development and training. Collaborates with other departments and agencies regarding resources and services for improved patient care and staff development. Overseeing hiring, development, and scheduling of nursing staff. This position include 1-2 shifts per week and provides direct patient care. Other tasks assigned.
