The Substance Use Disorder Program Therapist will perform social services functions that will assist clients in meeting their bio-psychosocial needs, while allowing them to achieve, through therapeutic treatment, their optimal level of emotional health. Program Therapists provide basic consultation, teaching, complete specialized social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term therapy, and provide information and referrals as needed. Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services, the Clinician will provide services including, but not limited to assessment, group, individual and family therapy. The Clinician will collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting to provide comprehensive treatment to our clients.

Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field. Experience: A minimum of two years experience in a psychiatric health care facility and a minimum of one year DBT experience, with direct experience in group therapies, crises intervention,and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. License: The Clinician must possess a NJ state license in their discipline.
