We are currently looking for Full-Time Mental Health Assistants for WEEKEND DAYS to join our team of dedicated professionals.
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: To provide direct patient care to children and adolescents at Hermitage Hall.

We provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children and adolescents with behavioral health needs. We make a difference in our resident’s lives, and our mental health outcomes show that our patients leave feeling better than they arrive! The Mental Health Assistant provides direct care to our residents, supervising them, directing their activity, running daily groups designed to help our residents meet their treatment goals, and demonstrating positive behaviors as a role model. A typical day could involve assisting in a classroom, helping our children paint a picture, teaching the importance of good hygiene, assisting in a clinical group, supervising while our residents are outside enjoying our 5+ acre campus, or being on a housing unit while the residents enjoy some television. Mental Health Assistant Job Requirements
BS/BA in social services and 1 year direct care experience or supervised practicum in lieu of the experience preferred
Two (2) years direct care experience
High school diploma (or equivalency) preferred
Must be at least 21 years of age
