15 years of professional experience.
10 years of software engineering and/or product experience with 5 years leading product teams.
Experience in developer ecosystems. Preferred qualifications:
Experience building and leading diverse teams, and incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies into team’s day to day work.
Experience in security, privacy, and/or ads monetization.
Expertise navigating complex environments in which decisions are challenged/questioned.
Ability to make progress and adapt quickly in response to changing data.
Ability to define product strategy, and drive roadmap in new and inventive ways.
Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to influence and build excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. About the job
As the Director, Product Management, you and your team will focus on the Privacy Sandbox mission: to create a thriving web that is respectful of users, and private by default. In doing so, you’ll be a custodian of billions of users’ experience online. You’ll partner with the ecosystem to define what helpful and trusted solutions should look like for generations to come. And, you’ll advance the core capabilities of the open web platform.
Drive a comprehensive anti-tracking strategy for Chrome browser and the web platform.
Collaborate across Google—including Android, Privacy and Identity, Ads, Cloud and other relevant Product Areas—to further anti-tracking efforts on the web.
Represent the Privacy Sandbox to the public, in press interviews, at industry events, and other ecosystem forums.
Evolve a multi-year roadmap, and uptake of Privacy Sandbox technologies in response to changes in web standards, regulatory, and business landscape.
Grow and manage a team of product managers who work with standards bodies, teams across Google, and key ecosystem partners to assess needs, and develop privacy-preserving technologies to address them.
